Luke West was born and raised in the colorful hills of Fayetteville, Arkansas. In 1982-84 at the early age of 18, Luke traveled the world with the national multiple casts group "UP WITH PEOPLE". After returning home to Fayettville Arkansas for a period and then moving to Tulsa Oklahoma, Luke continued his ambitious rise as a performer and songwriter.
Luke has opened for Matt Mason (CMT Next Superstar winner 2011), Shenandoah, Andy Griggs (a previous client of ours), Tracey Lawrence, and many more!
With his amazing timber and grit, completely unorthodox original style of writing, Luke represented a new style of artist that J. Gary Smith Productions found to be very original and intriguing. Neo-Country is definately a style Luke can call his own. Warning to the listener, it's infectious!
